AGUILAR installation presented at NUIT BLANCHE 2014
Nuit Blanche, the Parisian annual dusk to dawn Arts Festival features Aguilar's new installation 'Picture Element (2014)'. Picture Element is a giant pixel. The word pixel is a contraction of "picture" and "element". This work is an extension of an element that constitutes our digital screens. Picture Element makes visible what we do not see and yet is before our eyes. The choice of the shape of the pixel is an adaptation of a true pixel (Samsung) choosen for Aguilar's form of stained glass. Supported by Galerie Hussenot
